Assembler A (Union)
This individual will work closely with production personnel and engineers to assemble motors, actuators and electromechanical assemblies in a manufacturing organization. Performs all functions related to the assembly process from component inventory through final assembly.
Employee will read and understand blueprints, process instructions, schematics, mechanical drawings, pictures and other diagrams to assemble complex assemblies and subassemblies.
Able to use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, hex wrenches, torque drivers.
Assemble parts or units and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, sub-assemblies.
Measure parts to determine tolerances using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, drop- indicators.
Dexterity — the ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.

Rework and/or repair assembled products according to engineering specification changes.
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
Maintain inventory of product at work stations.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
High school diploma and a minimum of 8-10 years related experience required.
Must have experience in the assembly of mechanical mechanisms/assemblies, wiring, and cable harnesses.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must be computer literate in MS Word and Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to be hands-on and get the job done on schedule
